Trimble Local Schools will need to make a bus change in the Jacksonville area. If your child gets on and off the bus on 6th street in Jacksonville, they will need to go to the 5th and Palmer stop for Thursday & Friday August 28th & August 29th

This is a reminder that tomorrow is the elementary Open House from 5:00-6:30pm. Enjoy a free hot-dog dinner being served in the cafeteria. Visit the classrooms to meet the staff and drop off any school supplies. Community partners will also be giving out resources and other goodies.
First through 6th grade students who did not receive a postcard in the mail giving their homeroom teacher's name can find out this information by:
- Going to the side parking lot door with the awning. All class lists can be found in the green binder.
- Call the office at 740-767-2810.

Subject: Fall Sports Transportation Update
I wanted to take a moment to clarify some questions we've been receiving regarding team transportation for fall sports.
Bussing will be provided for our Football and Volleyball teams at all levels — from Junior High through Varsity — as has been the practice in previous years.
At this time, bussing will not be provided for our Cross Country or Golf teams. We recognize the importance of transportation for all student-athletes and hope to revisit this in the future.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our athletic programs.

The Tomcat Care Clinic will be open on Monday, August 11th. We are currently available to schedule vaccines, physicals, and acute visits for students. Please call 740-767-2490 to schedule your appointment!
Student Homeroom Postcards
Grades 1–6:
Postcards are in the mail announcing your child's homeroom teacher for the upcoming school year!
If you do not receive a postcard by Monday, August 11, homeroom information will be available in a red binder outside the side parking lot door under the awning.
Preschool and Kindergarten:
Families will receive a letter with the student’s teacher assignment, as well as details about classroom visits, testing, and other important information.

Trimble Local All Sport Passes is now available for order. Please contact the district office @ 740-767-4444 to place your order.
Please see the school supply list for the 7th and 8th grade students. Students in grades 9 - 12 can purchase items such as 3 ring binders, two pocket folders, pencils, pens, highlighters, but will be given more specific items once school starts. This will be especially true in elective courses. Please call the office at 740-767-3434 with any questions.
