The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) would like to invite you to participate in a short, 25 question survey about your involvement in your student’s education. Research suggests that parental involvement is a key predictor of positive educational outcomes. You may be eligible to participate if your child has an IEP and receives special education services. The purpose of collecting this information is to improve services for students with disabilities across Ohio. If you are eligible to participate and you enroll in the study, you will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card. Your chance of winning a gift card is approximately 2.0%. Sam Jones & Hocking College Presents Brats and Boxing: A Benefit for Trimble High School
(April 9, 2025) Nelsonville, Ohio – Get ready for a knockout night of boxing and support your community at the “Brats and Boxing” exhibition, hosted in collaboration with Sam Jones and Hocking College. This event will support the Sam Jones Trimble Promise Scholarship, which provides financial aid to Trimble High School graduates, allowing them to attend a program of their choice at Hocking.
Food and concessions will be available, but alcohol will not be served at this event.
What: Sam Jones and Hocking College presents “Brats and Boxing” exhibition fundraiser.
Where: The Arena at Hocking College, 3301 Hocking Parkway, Nelsonville, Ohio.
When: Saturday, April 26, 2025. Doors open at 5 pm. Bouts begin at 6 p.m.

A student ID will be required. One ticket per student may be purchased.

Kids on Campus at Ohio University is once again planning our one-day STEM event, Tech Savvy. It is set for Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at the Ohio University, Athens Campus. This event is free of charge and is geared toward females (but is not exclusive) in grades 5-9 who are interested in exploring STEM in a hands-on workshop environment. A parent/guardian is welcome to attend with their child as well. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is required as space is limited.
Reminder: 7th grade camp meeting at 6 p.m. tonight in room 514, meet camp staff.

Special Board Meeting 4/2/2025
Families: The Joe Burrow Foundation's truck just arrived at the Jacksonville building, and we are ready for food distribution to begin. Families are asked to come to the front of the building by the flag pole to pick up the food. Thank you.
Preschool Registration for the 2025–26 school year will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Any child who resides in the Trimble Local School District and will be four years old on or before August 1, 2025, is eligible to attend preschool next school year. Additionally, the following documentation must be presented at registration: Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, Proof of Address, Parent/Guardian's Photo ID, and Proof of Income.
