Thank you to ALL families for your patience as we work through our new procedures for the DROP-OFF/PICK-UP line. Tomorrow is the first day for ALL Kindergarten and some preschool students. We ask ALL families to be especially patient and careful during arrival and drop-off times this week. Also, expect delays as it will take longer this week to get these students into and out of the building safely.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Reminders:
1. Adults are asked to stay in the vehicle at all times. School staff will help your child in and out of the vehicle.
2. As you enter the parking lot, prompt your child gather his/her backpack, lunch box, coats/jackets, etc. and say good-bye BEFORE you get to the drop off at the TOMCAT awning.
3. If your child is unable to buckle himself/herself into the seat, please pull into a parking space or designated spot to help your child. This allows the line to continue moving.
4. Please drop your child off on the sidewalk/curb side of the car.
5. GO SLOW and be aware of students and staff entering/exiting the building.
6. Be careful to not block buses entering or exiting the parking lot.
7. DO NOT drop-off your child until school staff are outside to supervise.
8. For elementary students, any child arriving to school after 9:00am, must come to the front entrance of the building and sign in at the office before going to class.
